Archaeological tour through Munich with MUNICH ART TO GO
We are participating in the MunichArtToGo app, which was developed by the Central Institute for Art History and sends history enthusiasts on an archaeological search through Munich. It's amazing what has come to light so far (and especially where!). For coffee lovers, football fans and others who want to see Munich from a different perspective.

AR project planned
Since 2021, the Bavarian Ministry of Art has been supporting state institutions on their digital journey with the kultur.digital.vermittlung programme. We are delighted that the State Archaeological Collection is part of the new funding round. An exciting AR project is in planning. It will not only offer emotional added value, but also attract younger visitors to the museum. Archaeology as an experience, close enough to touch.
