We are participating in the ‘Bei Anruf Kultur!’-programme.
Telephone tours for cultural participation – now also available at the State Archaeological Collection!
‘Call for Culture’ is open to anyone who wants to use their ears to see and experience culture in a new way. The programme is aimed at people who are unable to experience exhibitions visually in person. For example, because they are blind or visually impaired. Because they have limited mobility or do not feel comfortable visiting in a group. Only in German.
KulturSalon+ – we're on board!
Starting in 2025, KulturSalon+, launched by the Beisheim Foundation, will also be running at our facility. Cultural participation and creative exchange for seniors who have a low income or miss social contact! We welcome the Generation Plus!
AR project
Since 2021, the Bavarian Ministry of Art has been supporting state institutions on their digital journey with the kultur.digital.vermittlung programme. We are delighted that the State Archaeological Collection has been part of the funding project. An exciting AR project has been planned. It offers not only an emotional added value, but also attracts younger visitors to the museum. Archaeology as an experience, close enough to touch. Bookable here! Only available in German.

Archaeological tour through Munich with MUNICH ART TO GO
We are participating in the MunichArtToGo app, which was developed by the Central Institute for Art History and sends history enthusiasts on an archaeological search through Munich. It's amazing what has come to light so far (and especially where!). For coffee lovers, football fans and others who want to see Munich from a different perspective.
