Arrowheads for bowhunting were of fundamental importance in most African cultures at all times. In the workshop guests can make arrowheads from flint under guidance, which can later be worn as a pendant on a ribbon. Details Details.

On an overview tour through the new permanent exhibition with the Munich Adult Education Centre, you will experience the adventure of archaeology in all its diversity.

As part of the “Türe auf mit der Maus”-campaign, there is a one-hour torchlight tour through the castle museum - please bring a torch with you. Places limited, please register: buchung(at)archaeologie.bayern

10am-5pm. Live sheep shearing approximately every hour on the hour (depending on the weather!): Delicacies and sheep-related products, plus delicate handicrafts in the castle courtyard. The castle museum is open.

The State Archaeological Collection takes part, when museums all over Munich offer anight-visit with special programme. Our programme is available here. Special children's programme from 2-5 pm.
