A living museum needs support. The "Freundeskreis der Archäologischen Staatssammlung e.V." has been supporting the Bavarian State Archaeological Collection since 1973 - and currently has 625 members. Donations and contributions from the Friends are channelled into the museum's diverse projects and thus benefit everyone.
We would like to invite you to become a member in order to make a contribution to saving Bavarian archaeological treasures and safeguarding our valuable cultural assets. This is the only way to ensure continuity in collecting, preserving and researching, as well as in museum presentation and communication.

- As a member, you are invited to all events organised by the museum
- You have free admission to the Bavarian State Archaeological Collection and Grünwald Castle
- You will receive exclusive excursion offers to archaeologically and art-historically significant destinations in and around Bavaria as well as
- Visits and guided tours to other museums
- Acquisition of archaeologically significant finds
- Financing of printed matter
- Support for public relations projects
- Financial participation in research project
- Full member: 45 euros (partners 20 euros)
- School pupils and students: 20 euros
- Senior citizens aged 65 and over: 30 euros
- Companies and organisations: 100 euros
The membership fee is determined at the general meeting.
